As the Assistant Dean for Student Services, Ayana Richardson directs the academic services for all students in the School of Business, including orientation, registration, advising and academic status.  In addition, Ms. Richardson also advises both the Deans' Host and Business School Tourguides, which provides information to prospective students and guests about the programs and resources available in the School and campus-wide. 

Joining Ithaca College in May 2009, Ms. Richardson has over 10 years of experience working in higher education and student services.  With an undergraduate degree in International Business and Finance and a Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Managment, her interests also includes entrepreneurship, community economic development and city and regional planning.  Ms. Richardson is an active member of the Ithaca community, serving on many not-for-profit and city-wide boards.  A long term resident, she was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Ithaca with her family in 1980.
