I am the Administrative Assistant for Residential Education, in Residential Life, primarily supporting the Assistant Director for Residential Education, Dr. Jacqueline (Winslow) Robilotta, who provides leadership and direction for the First-Year Residential Experience (FYRE) program and the Residential Learning Communities (RLC). Together, we help support the coordination of all department programming in the residence halls and apartments on campus with a focus on student learning and the overall experience of their first year.
I also provide support for the PAC-D (President's Advisory Committee on Diversity) group assisting Dr. Roger Richardson and Michelle Rios-Dominguez in that capacity. I am currently a member of the SACL (Student Affairs and Campus Life) Staff Development Committee and co-facilitator for the Working Parents Affinity Group (WPAG). I am also a member of the Mental Health Response Team (MHRT) through the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
A fun fact: I thoroughly enjoy my interactions with our students, faculty, and staff alike and offer an open invitation for all to call, email, or just drop by my office to visit! Any time I can assist, I'm happy to! I'm an ear, a shoulder, a friend, and a believer in the healing power of a hug (yes, I'm a hugger!) I love my work and the people I work with! It doesn't get much better than that!!
