Thank you for visiting my profile page.  I have had the pleasure of working at Ithaca College for over 19 years, first in Residential Life and for the past 14 years in Career Services, where I currently serve as Associate Director.  At Ithaca College I have served as a member of the Ithaca College Board of Trustees (2008-2011) and as a Lecturer in the School of Business (2006-2012).  In the community, I am a board member of One World Market (formerly Ten Thousand Villages), a local non-profit store that is concerned with fair trade, and Twin Tiers Honor Flight.   In November of 2013 I was elected to the Town Council of Caroline, NY and began my four year term on January 1, 2014.

My professional affiliations include the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE), where I am a past President (3 year term, presidential year 2011-2012), as well as a past Board member (2007-2009).  I am also a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).  I currently sit on the college advisory board of Experience, a pioneer and industry leader in the field of online college recruiting systems.  I have also served as an Alliance Assembly Delegate (2010) to the former American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance on behalf of the now defunct National Dance Association (NDA).

My educational background includes a Master of Business Administration degree (concentration in Marketing) from the School of Management at Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Arts from Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University with dual majors in Psychology and Cinema.

The arts are very important to me and they are something in which I am active in several ways, as a songwriter/musician; writer; and performing member of ComedyFLOPs, an improv and sketch comedy troupe.  ComedyFLOPs performs a free show on alternating Fridays at 6:00 p.m. at Lot 10 in Ithaca.  We accept donations from our audience and in three years have raised over $2,500 for organizations such as Hospice, Healthy Food For All and our 2013 charity, Community School of Music and Arts.  Additionally, I am an experimental film artist and have been fortunate to have had my works exhibited at the national level.  In 2011 my band Loose Change released the song, Carry On, (iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby) as a fund raiser to help address the unmet and often catastrophic health care needs of 9/11 first responders.  Most recently, my play, Club Hell was performed by Harlequin Productions of Cayuga Community College.

I lead a full and very good, life.
