We're starting to expand the ways we can address web development needs for the campus. Way back when I was a student, it was common to get a student or someone in the office to develop a web site. And I appreciated that. While that's still fairly common, the possibilities and expectations for what's online has changed. Starting from scratch every two years or more just isn't feasible. We're providing tools for continuity and growth that enforce best practices for web publishing.
There's a boatload of new sites that will be launched along with this initiative, and while it's a little overwhelming as we get into crunch time, it's exciting how greatly this affects a broader part of the campus.
