With a M.S. in Counselor Education, and a B.A. in Music (Vocal Performance), Kerry joins the IC Academic Advising Center with several years of academic advising experience. At Coastal Carolina University, Kerry advised first-year students, taught First Year Experience Seminars, and was the co-instructor for Principles of Peer Mentoring. At Northern Illinois University, Kerry provided academic advising for students in the College of Health and Human Services, while participating in transfer and new student orientation. Kerry continues to pursue her own studies as a doctoral student in Counseling and Counselor Education at Syracuse University. In the past two years, she has completed both a clinical internship at St. Joseph's Family Medicine Clinic as well as an internship with Career Services at Syracuse University where she assisted students with resumes, cover letters, and major/career exploration.
