Mary Holland, Student Organizations Business Specialist
Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs
When I decided to leave my small town of Cazenovia, NY to head off to college – I was unaware then that my own college involvement and experience would inherently decide my career choice. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia in Political Science and Economics. After my amazing undergraduate experience, I attended the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) to receive my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration. During my graduate experience, I worked as a Graduate Assistant at Medaille College assisting with programming efforts surrounding student activities, multicultural affairs, orientation and family weekend.
At Ithaca College, I oversee all financial transactions and travel of the student clubs and organizations. I regularly meet one-on-one with student organization treasurers to ensure the OSEMA financial policies and procedures are clearly understood. The best part of my job is being able to work with students and assist them in making their organization as successful as possible.
Personally, I love spending time with friends, trying out new restaurants, reading, and continuing what I view as a serious relationship with my TV shows.
If you have any questions about student organizations or want to hear an awesome joke (I’ve got tons of them), feel free to stop by the OSEMA office (my office is located in the Student Activities Center), e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (607) 274-3222.
