Paula joined the Gerontology Institute in 2012, but is no stranger to Ithaca College or the institute. In her prior capacity as director of corporate and foundation relations, she often assisted the institute with obtaining funding for its programs from corporate and foundation sources. Paula's past experience in the field of aging includes having been assistant director of marketing and admissions for Kendal at Ithaca, a continuing care retirement community, as well as community relations director for Lakeside Nursing Home (now Cayuga Ridge).
As assistant director of the Gerontology Institute, Paula develops and manages its strategic and program marketing; oversees several operating, restricted, and grant budgets; assists with the development of new ventures; manages the institute's development and fundraising efforts; and then, there are those many other duties as assigned!
After a long career in marketing/communications and fundraising, Paula is pleased to use her skills to support the Gerontology Institute's well-established and successful programs for people who work in the field of aging. She welcomes any feedback having to do with marketing/communications for the Institute.
