As the associate vice president for marketing communications, I am responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive marketing program that supports the college’s strategic goals on an institution-wide basis. The Office of Marketing Communications includes four units: Client Marketing Services (including sports information), Communication, Creative Services and Recruitment Marketing. We produce ithaca.edu, FUSE magazine, and ICView magazine, among a myriad of other strategic marketing communications for the college. We oversee the comprehensive advertising campaign, as well as the licensing and trademark enforcement program.
Prior to joining Ithaca College in July 2010, I worked for the State University of New York at New Paltz in their office of communication & marketing. During my 12-year tenure at New Paltz I led numerous marketing and communications efforts, including crisis communication management; web communication; coordinating print, web, and e-mail campaigns; implementing a new brand identity system; led the College’s Creative Services Team, and worked on many e-recruiting initiatives.
