My daily practice in the CFE is guided by a commitment to understanding and facilitating learning in every dimension of life. At the CFE, I focus on organizational learning, change, and development as we move toward the full implementation of our IC 2020 plan. My focus on leadership development in higher education is informed by a model of collaborative and inclusive leadership and it is within this model that I work with our Faculty-in-Residence program. Currently, I lead the CFE initiatives on mutual mentoring and cohort career development. Because I place great emphasis on the scholar-practitioner model, I am actively engaged in scholarship. My current book project is tentatively titled, An Ecology of Resilience, and will weave together historical and contemporary explorations of the multidimensionality of resilience.
