Rasoul Rezvanian joined Ithaca College (IC) on August 2016 as the Associate Dean of School of Business. He received his Ph.D. (Economics/Finance) from Southern Illinois University, Master of Science (Accounting) from Roosevelt University, and BS (Business) from University of Tehran. Prior to joining IC, he taught for 25 years at BBA, MBA and MSA programs at Northeastern Illinois University, receiving faculty teaching and research awards.
Rasoul served as coordinator of Business Graduate programs (2005-2015), and chair of department of Accounting, Business Law and Finance (2007-2014). He taught at Urals Pedagogical University (Russia 1995), Western and Khazar Universities (Azerbaijan, Fulbright 1997), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore 1998), Sultan Qaboos University (Oman 2005), and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication (China, Fulbright 2006).
Rasoul's primary teaching and research interests are in financial institutions and markets.
